"Unfabulous is a standout game experience that is perfectly suited for girl gamers," said John Ardell, director, global brand management, THQ. "With the girls handheld market accounting for over $40 million in sales in 2005 and showing continual growth, this is the perfect time to debut a game starring Nickelodeon's hottest new star from the top-rated Unfabulous TV show."

"Nickelodeon's Unfabulous TV show is extremely popular among the tween market, with both the show and main character ranking extremely high in familiarity among girls ages 9-14," said Paul Jelinek, vice president, digital media products of Nickelodeon and MTVN Kids and Family Group. "We are extremely pleased to introduce the Unfabulous franchise as Nickelodeon's first live-action video game and to continue to bring quality entertainment to fans."

About the Unfabulous Video Game

Unfabulous for Game Boy Advance features story-driven game play with levels based on events from the show and includes all of Addie's friends, family and secret crushes. Players will tag along with this smart, funny seventh-grader as she navigates through life at Rocky Road Middle School while enduring as little humiliation as possible. The game features mini-games that fans of the show will enjoy, such as helping Addie write music, performing songs at open mic nights, avoiding detention by not letting Principal Brandywine catch Addie as she rushes to class and playing alongside Addie's crush, Jake, in his favorite video game, Venus Fly Trap 4. Players can explore the key locations from the show, including Rocky Road Middle School, Addie's neighborhood and the local hangout, Juice.
